Identify

Identify Structural Data

The Identify option to display, in the Report Window of Vulcan, the information contained in the structural database for a nominated structural object. The option can be used in either the Primary or Stereonets Window.

Instructions

• Select Geotech menu
• Select Analysis submenu
• Select Identify option

Select the structural data. The name of each selected structural object, i.e. site identifier, displays as a label next to the object.

Note

Manually entered structure objects (entered through the Create or Slope options, or loaded as such through the Load option) do not have a link to the structural database, and therefore show only the basic attributes of the object, such as layer, object, value, group, primitive and feature.
